Rubenstein Public Relations (RPR) is a leading, full-service, mid-size public relations agency based in New York. We have built a reputation for launching and tipping brands, while placing top-tier broadcast within print and digital. We represent a compelling roster of clients in business, technology, real estate, finance, luxury consumer products, sustainability, entertainment, health and wellness, social impact, and the nonprofit sector.

RPR is looking for an experienced writer to join our team. You'll work on new business development and client projects, writing everything from proposals to press materials.

MUST HAVE PR AGENCY EXPERIENCE

Your Role:

• Write new business proposals and pitch materials
• Create marketing content: backgrounders, case studies, presentations, staff bios
• Draft press releases, speeches, and corporate communications
• Update templates and company materials for accuracy and style
• Handle correspondence for the company president
• Work on several client accounts simultaneously
• Collaborate with business development team on prospect meetings
• Assist with client writing (press materials, speeches, responses to written questions from reporters, other corporate communications materials, etc.)
• Draft and edit all new business correspondence on behalf of the president

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years PR agency writing experience
• Proven proposal writing skills
• Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, journalism, or related field
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Experience with systems and processes
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Publishing background preferred but not required

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with a target base compensation range of 80k -110k which is commensurate on experience
