About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Capture & Contracts to lead and support its government initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all contracting practices, including the generation and implementation of capture strategies to meet growth targets. This role demands an individual with expert knowledge of government software licensing, particularly in the context of the United States and the Department of Defense. The Vice President will be at the forefront of launching new products and shaping the landscape of defense acquisition, with a focus on an AI application that enhances the speed and effectiveness of federal production capacity. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in government contracting, and a proven track record in acquiring high-profile contracts. Premier organizational, communication, and collaborative skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with sales, engineering, and executive teams. The role requires the candidate to be 100% onsite, and the ideal candidate will also possess a Master’s degree, past startup experience, and either hold or have the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance. Daily responsibilities include leading contract procurement dialogues, providing technical product synopses to customers, and building strategies to capture critical contracts successfully.
