We are looking for a visionary UX Research Manager to lead our core product and experience vertical, which focuses on Account, Wallet, and Responsible Gaming teams. This critical role will drive the enhancement of our user experience, ensuring our products are intuitive, accessible, and lead the market in user engagement.

  • Build and manage a high-performing team of researchers with different backgrounds while completing end-to-end projects in the core product and experience vertical.
  • Become a trusted, strategic partner to internal stakeholders by communicating and demonstrating the value of user research, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Experienced in a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods - expert at knowing how to balance, speed, rigor and team workload
  • Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product experience
  • Distill findings into clearly articulated and actionable insights designed to improve the product experience
  • Initiates and advances projects autonomously, requiring minimal guidance to move forward effectively.
  • Operates under broad objectives, formulating strategies to achieve deadlines and organizational goals.
  • Innovates problem-solving techniques by applying established methods and proactively anticipating potential challenges.
  • Actively contributes to team meetings, sharing insights and fostering collaborative discussions.
  • Engages in hiring practices, such as application reviews, case studies, experience reviews, and live exercises to enhance product quality and user experience.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback and support to develop and grow individuals
  • Receives coaching on interpersonal and management skills, aiming for professional growth in leadership capacities.
  • Acquires and applies skills in providing objective, timely, and constructive feedback.
  • Mentors team members in technical competencies, enhancing team capabilities and cohesion.
  • Assists with the integration and training of new team members, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding process.
THE STATS What we're looking for in our next teammate
  • 5+ years of experience in UX research, including 1-2 years experience leading research projects and teams.
  • Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of research methodologies such as usability studies, A/B testing, user interviews, and field studies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven track record of influencing their others
  • Advanced stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with the ability to negotiate and align diverse group interests.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Experience in the gaming or digital entertainment industries is highly desirable..

The applicable salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
