Job Details

• The Physical Therapy Assistant's primary function is to perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.
• The Assistant will treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with patient's medical needs and with an approved treatment plan and will understand their limitations as an assistant.
• The assistant will assist in maintaining the department in a neat and orderly manner.
• The assistant will complete all documentation of daily notes and discharge data.
• Patients cared for may include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adult, and geriatric.

Job Requirements

• Will accept new grads
• Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
• Work History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years

Schedule Information

• Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays.
• Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays
• On Call paid out at $2 per hour with 1 Hour Minimum

Additional Details

• Comanche Specific Policies:
• Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back
• Rebate - This client has a rebate of 1% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates.
• Local Policy - Applicants within 50 miles of Comanche County will be considered for a placement at 11% less the travel rate.
