Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Pearsall, TX. As an Obstetrics RN, you will provide comprehensive care and support to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum period.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Obstetrics unit, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both the mother and baby.
Conduct initial assessments of pregnant patients to determine their health status, medical history, and potential risks.
Monitor fetal heart rates, contraction patterns, and vital signs during labor, using various technologies such as electronic fetal monitoring.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring accurate dosages and timely administration.
Assist obstetricians during vaginal or cesarean deliveries, providing support and ensuring the safety of the mother and baby.
Educate patients and their families about prenatal care, childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.

Requirements:
Active RN License (Texas or Compact License)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Certifications (AHA preferred)
Minimum 2 years recent experience in MedSurg
