Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Mid Shifts)

We're seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Waco, TX, providing care to teenagers with emotional or behavioral difficulties. This full•time role involves mid•shifts from 2:00 pm • 10:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care in a psychiatric setting.
• Collaborate with team members, physicians, and nurses.
• Document patient data in the EMR and complete reports.
• Supervise and maintain personnel records.
• Comply with all facility rules and policies.

Requirements:
• Active Texas RN License.
• AHA BLS Certification.
• 2 years of direct care nursing experience.
• Experience in hospital acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health (excluding Home Health or School Nurse).
• 1 year of experience in a facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
• Experience with a larger med pass.
• COVID•19 vaccination.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of direct care nursing experience.
• Experience in psychiatric care.

Additional Information:
• 2 weeks of orientation provided.
• Possibility for extension.
• Floating may be required.
• No specific scrub color/style.
• Parking provided.
• EMR used is IRIS (Cerner sub•contractor).

Candidates must meet HHSC requirements, including complete immunization records, fingerprinting, and successful drug screen and background checks.
