Job Title: Neuro- Progressive/Stepdown or ICU Nurse

Shift: 7A - 7:30P

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuro- Progressive/Stepdown or ICU Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in neuro-progressive care and be capable of delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions, monitoring their vital signs and responding quickly to changes in their status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following all safety protocols and standards of practice.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in the Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer acceptance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Neuro- Progressive/Stepdown or ICU settings is required.
• Epic experience is essential for this position.
• Must possess a valid nursing license.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively discuss patient care with team members and families.

Additional Information:

• Scrub colors: Navy Blue.
• Candidates must be local residents; please refer to the ineligibility list for counties.
• This position involves potential floating to other units as needed.
• This position is currently open due to a staffing vacancy and offers guaranteed hours over a contract period of 91 weeks.
