Kind Behavioral Health, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis services, seeks to hire a
Manager of Training Programs to lead the oversight, maintenance and execution of our ongoing training and onboarding programs. The Training Programs Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees. This role involves collaborating with internal clinical experts to identify training needs, develop comprehensive training plans, and evaluate the impact of training initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for employee development and a proven track record in training program management.
Essential Job Responsibilities: Steward front line staff (Registered Behavior Tech) onboarding training to be a best in class, engaging experience
Recruit and select trainers
Supervise and mentor trainers for all non-clinical aspects
Ensure all routine training logistics are planned and communicated
Optimize ongoing training program for enabling best learning environments and increasing volumes of new hires
Partner with clinical and functional leads to ensure training covers best in class content
Update training materials, e-learning modules, and other educational resources as needed to ensure content is always current,
relevant, and compliant with BACB requirements and industry best practices
Onboarding Training Broadly
Upgrade or build formal, complete and engaging onboarding training for BCBAs, CDs, Clinic Admins, and corporate staff
Develop creative ways for all team members to connect with the Kind Way of services, learn about ASD and child development,
and build real relationships with their new colleagues
Ongoing Training
Create and maintain a detailed training calendar, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of training events.
Steward the calendar creation and logistics around ongoing training events for clinical staff (RBTs and BCBAs)
Partner with internal experts to build and launch training events that can become part of a clinicians standard development
plan
Learning and Development Priority Setting
Plan agenda and facilitate conversation of Learning & Development Board (internal committee to align on L&D priorities)
Bring thought leadership to training program broadly and specific training events based on:
Instructional design
How to build concepts on top of each other
Facilitation best practices
Measure training effectiveness & continuously improve based on data and feedback from stakeholders
Manage vendor relationships relating to learning management system and other training-related 3rd party vendors
Serve as the administrator for third party training certifications (i.e. ACE certifications, CEU administration).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: - Bachelor's degree. Graduate degree in business, HR, I/O psychology or other related field preferred.
- 3+ years experience in both training program management and training execution, ideally with a geographically dispersed team
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-impact training at scale, both in-person and virtual.
- Experience in healthcare, clinical or educational environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and approaches preferred.
- Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured workplace, proactively raising issues as they arise, or as additional support is needed
- Adaptability and continuous improvement mindset
- Flexible attitude and enthusiasm for positive change
- Professional and comfortable working with all employees, including the senior leadership team, in a highly collaborative and cooperative fashion
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Highly proficient in Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Willingness to travel within KBH markets
- A desire to be challenged, make an impact, and learn in one of the fastest growing companies based in NC
- Role performance will be measured by a set of agreed upon KPIs, such as pass rates, student success, training execution, and learner feedback.
