Job Description

MusicBreeds, Inc. is a leading arts organization dedicated to enriching lives through music education and performance. We are currently seeking a Teaching Artist to join our team of passionate educators. As a Teaching Artist at MusicBreeds, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students through engaging music lessons and creative expression.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement music lessons that align with our curriculum and educational goals.

Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and personal growth.

Engage students with diverse learning styles and abilities through interactive music activities.

Encourage artistic expression and individuality.

Provide constructive feedback and evaluation to support students' musical development.

Collaborate with fellow Teaching Artists and staff to develop and improve curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Prior experience teaching music to students of various ages and backgrounds.

Demonstrated proficiency on at least one instrument.

Strong musical theory and performance skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passionate about music education and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
