Job Description

We are seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Milwaukee. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with speech and language needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other school staff. Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language therapy services for students as directed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Assist the SLP with assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
• Use evidence-based interventions and techniques to support students' speech and language development
• Collaborate with other school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers, to support student's academic and social-emotional needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and behavior
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities as required

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field

• Wisconsin SLPA licensure
• Knowledge of speech and language therapy techniques and interventions
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other school staff
