We are seeking a Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year, supporting K-12 students across Illinois. This role offers both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences from the comfort of your home.

Position Overview
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will work with students in grades K-12, providing individualized instruction, support, and accommodations to help them succeed academically. You'll collaborate with families, school staff, and other professionals in a fully remote learning environment while ensuring that students receive the specialized services they need.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Provide engaging, interactive, and differentiated instruction in an online classroom setting.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support academic growth.
Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school teams to provide updates on student performance.
Utilize technology effectively to create an engaging and inclusive virtual learning environment.
Maintain compliance with Illinois state regulations and special education best practices.

Qualifications
Valid Illinois Special Education license or certification (required).
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.
Prior experience teaching in a virtual or remote environment (preferred but not required).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor.
