Description

LESC's Diversity Works program is designed to help preserve and strengthen families with histories of substance use disorder. We are seeking a Social Work Coordinator to join our team in the making make a difference in the lives of vulnerable, formerly homeless families.

The Social Work Coordinator will collaborate and coordinate efforts of social service staff to ensure families are receiving comprehensive services that address all needs of the families. Individual will also supervise Social Workers in developing person centered service, service plans with families' and treatment staff input. Areas of service include, but are not limited to: mental health, educational, behavioral, medical, housing, criminal justice, children's services, vocational, rent and recertification.

LOCATION: Bronx, NY 10462

SCHEDULE: Full time

RATE/SALARY: $72,800 - $72, 800 / yearly

Requirements

QUALIFICATION - EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• LMSW (licensed in NY) with 2 years' experience working with families, housing and/or substance use services.
• Supervisory experience.
