CALLING ALL SMALL ENGINE MECHANICS!
PrideStaff is currently hiring a Small Engine Mechanic in Gulfport MS. 

Temp-To-Hire Position

Hourly Rate: $18 - $22/hr DOE

Schedule/Hours: March - October/Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-12pm
November - February/Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm


Desired candidate should have basic working knowledge of mowers and outdoor
power equipment. He/she will be required to independently perform basic/complex diagnostic and service repair.



Job Requirements:

• Must have their own tools (Tool List Will be Provided After Telephone Interview)
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical/Trade School Certification - Minimum of 2 years??? experience in equipment maintenance and Basic Service Technical Certification preferred
• The ability to lift at least 75lbs repeatedly
• Computer skills such as navigating company's business system, dealer parts and service portals
• Good communication skills - Must be able to compose/send e-mails.
• Basic writing skills that include proper grammar/spelling
• Ability to interpret parts/service manuals.
• Valid Mississippi State drivers license

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

• Small engine repair (2cycle/4cycle engines)
• Assembly & reconditioning of residential and commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, chain saws, edgers and blowers.
• Perform diagnostic inspections as directed - identify the cause of failure, determine the correct course of repair and acquire the proper tools and parts needed to accomplish the repair.
• Perform set-up and pre-delivery inspections for new or used equipment
• Maintain good working records for time/parts/supplies during repairs
• Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition.
