Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for receiving material and shipping products to customers per paperwork provided.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving:

1. Responsible for receiving material.

2. Check that packages are not damaged.

3. Check contents of package against purchase order.

4. Update computer with what has been received.

5. Tag damaged or nonconforming material and notify Management

6. Train new employees in this area.

Shipping

1. Responsible for checking paperwork to ensure correct paperwork matches items to be packed and shipped.

2. Responsible for ensuring that Quality has signed off on paperwork to release it for shipping.

3. Responsible for packaging product so that it does not get damaged in transit.

4. Responsible for shipping by method specified on Work Order or Traveler.

5. Responsible for shipping on date provided on paperwork.

6. Responsible for completing appropriate shipping paperwork and labels and ensuring these are with the product being shipped.

7. Responsible for updating the computer that product has been shipped.

8. Training new employees in this area.

9. Assist/lead in construction of any pallets, skids, containers, etc. for shipment of product to customers.

10. When shipping blast systems, ensure ALL pallets are wrapped with shrink wrap with the exception of systems shipping on flat bed, single drop and double drop trailers.

Other Required Duties

1. Pull components for system builds, per the pick ticket generated from the bill of materials (BOM) and sorted by sub-ID.

2. Generate a shortage for missing items, on each job and do follow-up on the shortage sheet as missing items come in.

3. Sort and label incoming parts (Bennett, Doty, Miller, RAM, Hurley)

4. Perform inspection of incoming parts machine shop & fabricated parts

5. Biweekly review of the coffee areas replenishing missing supplies

MINIMUM EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE

Requires two (2) years receiving and shipping experience.

Must be able to pass A 10 panel drug screen.

Must be a US citizen

Background check will be conducted

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
