About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in a full-time hybrid capacity. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, support audits, and guide clients toward healthy, sustainable financial practices. Our client base includes construction, professional services, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations — so we need someone who’s comfortable working across multiple industries.
In-office presence is required on Wednesdays at our North Raleigh office. The remainder of the week offers flexibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities
Manage general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations for multiple clients
Prepare and analyze financial statements and budget reports
Support clients through nonprofit reporting requirements and Single Audit preparation
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax regulations
Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities and solutions for clients
Collaborate with internal team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues

What We’re Looking For
5+ years of accounting experience at a CPA firm working with multiple clients
Demonstrated experience with nonprofit accounting, including fund accounting and grant reporting
Direct experience supporting a Single Audit (Uniform Guidance)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Exceptional communication and client service skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
