RK Pharma Inc, a US based company with subsidiaries in India, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality Assurance Team as we scale towards commercial manufacturing in the next upcoming months. As a company focused on the development, manufacturing and sale of high quality and affordable generic pharmaceutical products worldwide we are looking for sharp, driven, self-directed individuals to help us grow our mid-stage start-up team.

This position will focus heavily on building and managing our QA team, providing feedback and sharing industry standards as well as assisting the President of Quality Assurance with the day-to-day management of the team. This position is located in Pearl River, New York, and is required to be onsite.

If this sounds interesting to you, its probably because up to this point you have:

• Bachelors or masters degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry or other related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance
• Managed anywhere from 6-20 people.
• Provided guidance and mentorship to your team around standards cGMP, and QMS Functions.
• Experience and knowledge of compliance requirements and cGMP and keep precise records.
• Experience with injectables or generic pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The main responsibilities for this position are:

• Manage the workflow of the team on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide feedback and management of the team.
• Ensuring proper staffing for batches on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintain precises documentation for the team as well holding to all compliance and cGMP standards.
