Job Description

IDRis seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Product, SEO to lead and build out our SEO roadmap from scratch. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our online visibility, driving organic traffic, and improving customer acquisition through strategic SEO initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics, with a proven track record of leading successful SEO projects.



Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives to drive organic traffic growth and enhance online visibility.
Roadmap Building: Develop and manage a detailed SEO roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on impact and resources, and ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
Technical SEO: Collaborate with web development and IT teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code. Identify and address technical SEO issues on the website.
Content Strategy: Work closely with content creators to develop a robust content strategy that supports SEO goals. Provide guidance on keyword research, content creation, and optimization.
Analytics & Reporting: Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms to track, report, and analyze website performance, and provide insights to inform strategic decisions.
Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments including marketing, product management, and ecommerce to drive SEO initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing SEO team, providing mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities.
Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continually improve and adapt SEO strategies.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of SEO experience with a proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies. Experience in retail or ecommerce preferred.

Skills:
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Experience with web development and content management systems (CMS).
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in building and managing a team.
