Teachwell Solutions is seeking a dynamic team member to provide math instruction at Teachwell Academy beginning in August 2024. This position requires a valid South Dakota Teaching Certificate in secondary math content area, or ability to obtain certification through alternative route. Teachwell Academy is a nontraditional school serving students from the Sioux Falls region. Our teachers must share a love of quality education and a strong desire to make a difference for the students we serve. Our new team member will be responsible for providing instruction in lower level core math subjects.
Previous experience working with students with behavioral challenges is a plus, but we will train you in behavior de-esclalation methods and our behavior support system. Our school has a no-cellphone policy, allowing you to teach without the distractions caused by use of electronic devices.
