Job Title: Pre-K-4th Grade School Social Worker
Location: Lansing, IL
Salary: $55,000 - $67,000 paid weekly. Includes benefits and salary over the summer!

One of our favorite partner schools in Lansing, IL is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pre-K - 4th Grade School Social Worker to join their team this upcoming 2024-2025 school year. In this role, you will work closely with students, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive school environment.

Job Responsibilities: - Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-3:30 pm.
- Provide Social Work services and support to Pre-K-4th grade students.
- Manage a caseload of 20-25 IEP students.
- Support General Education students as needed.
- Develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Be a leading part of IEP creation and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Conduct assessments and create intervention strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between school and home to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being.
- Lead and participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives.
- Advocate for students' needs and connect them with appropriate community resources.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: - Master's Degree in Social Work.
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Endorsement in Social Work.
- Experience working in pediatric or elementary settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in social work and education.
