LaSalle Network is partnered with a technology solutions company that is seeking an experienced Sales Tax Associate to join the team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the compliance and audit functions of the sales tax department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sales tax regulations and demonstrate the ability to manage tax processes efficiently.



Sales Tax Associate Responsibilities:

• Support Billing Operations by calculating and invoicing sales tax, as well as renewing and applying for business licenses
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations
• Assist in the preparation and support of sales tax audits, including gathering necessary documentation
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of tax payments across multiple taxing jurisdictions
• Prepare general ledger entries for assigned accruals and submit reconciliations to management for review

Sales Tax Associate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of sales tax experience
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting systems, with the ability to navigate and manage transactions within these platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Avalara or Vertex Software is preferred
