About the Role

As the Restaurant Manager/ Assistant F&B Manager you will oversee the daily operations of our dining services, ensuring a seamless experience for our members. Reporting to the Director of Restaurants, you will work closely with the management team to elevate service standards, build lasting relationships with team members, and deliver excellence in every interaction. You will also play a crucial role in supporting and developing our team, which includes servers, bartenders, and server assistants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example through visible presence on the restaurant floor, engaging with team members and members alike.
  • Deliver and model exceptional hospitality, setting the standard for service excellence.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance management for the restaurant team.
  • Ensure consistent execution of all systems, standards, and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Welcome and seat members and guests, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Assist team members as needed with tasks such as taking food and beverage orders and overseeing service presentations.
  • Proactively anticipate member needs, resolve concerns, and address any service or food/beverage issues.
  • Foster collaboration between the Front of House and Culinary teams.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in food & beverage management preferred.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management and CMAA student chapter involvement are pluses.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for service excellence.
