Job Description: We are seeking a skilled React/Node.js Developer to join our team. While this is a remote position, the candidate must reside in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) area for occasional in-person meetings and collaboration with local teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and/or Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
- Attend virtual meetings and occasional in-person sessions in the DMV area.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in web development.
- Recent hands-on experience with React and/or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control (Git).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Must reside in the DMV area and be available for occasional on-site meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end build pipelines and tools.
