More About the Role

Our Public Relations Internship is designed to introduce students to the world of creative communications. Interns are assigned a supervisor who will help them learn the day-to-day tasks involved in working with multiple agency clients.

Responsibilities
  • Learn Client Strategies : Understanding client goals, target audience, and messaging strategies
  • Develop Targeted Media Lists : Develops media lists tailored to specific campaigns and initiatives
  • Participates in Media Relations : Conducts media relations from print to digital using proven pitching techniques
  • Create Press Clippings : Assists in crafting press materials showcasing client achievements
  • Join Client-Related Sessions : Participates in discussions to contribute ideas for PR campaigns
The payrate for the Public Relations Internship is $16.50/hour .

Qualifications
  • Weekly & Onsite Availability : Capable of dedicating a total of 15-20 hours per week, while being available for in-office work on Tuesdays & Wednesdays OR Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9:00am - 5:30pm, ensuring consistent attendance for team collaboration and internship program events
  • Academic Year : Must be a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior enthusiastic about pursuing a career in Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Familiarity : Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Media and Pop Culture Enthusiasm : Displays a keen interest in media, pop culture, and entertainment trends, showcasing a passion for staying updated with current events and industry developments

Additional Information About the Program

The Fall 2024 Internship Program is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 11th and ends on Wednesday, December 11th with flexibility to end sooner if needed. Interns are expected to report to our New York office twice a week with our teams being in the office either on Tuesdays & Wednesdays OR Wednesdays & Thursdays . To enhance the program, we've created additional programming that provides access to our leadership team and employees on other teams! The payrate for this opportunity is $16.50/hour and is eligible for college credit if applicable.
