AWS Industry Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling industry-specific positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS. As a product marketing manager for the M&E industry, you will have the opportunity to define and drive the marketing and positioning strategy for solutions and services that help media companies, studios, and sports organizations accelerate cloud transformation. You will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will create compelling content to help customers understand service use cases and value propositions, and build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. You will get to work on a new and rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and how they can be used to create business outcomes in the media and entertainment vertical, the ability to transform complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand messaging and materials, and experience building and improving scalable mechanisms to deliver results. A proven track record of excelling in a data-driven product marketing organization is essential, M&E industry subject-matter expertise desired but not required. Key job responsibilities- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
