Asgard Resources, located in Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana, is a rapidly growing company specializing in frac sand processing. Since 2019, we have become a leading supplier of frac sand to oil and gas companies nationwide. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking Plant/Equipment Operators to maintain and operate a sand washing, sizing, and drying plant. At times, this job will also include operating heavy equipment. You will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility. The primary place of work will be Froid, MT and/or Bainville, MT.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust machines and conveyors to maintain flow and quality of sand
- Perform emergency, routine, and preventative maintenance on mining equipment and machines
- Daily workplace inspections and examinations
- Assist with various construction projects
- Perform related assignments outlined by supervisor
- Compliance with MSHA safety standards and practice safe operations at all times
- Willingness to learn new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with a general knowledge of hand tools
- Effective communication skills with ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to perform simple math calculations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., shovel, and climb ladders/stairs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, 8-12-hour shifts, days or nights, weekends and holidays, overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently or with a partner
- Ability to work outside in various degrees of weather
