Responsibilities:

• Safety is a priority; employee must understand construction risks and bring them to the attention of their supervisor.
• Fabricate, assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
• Install pipe hangers and supports.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Develop a plan from full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints and specifications.
• Select pipe sizes, types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications by using hand and power tools.
  Requirements :

• High School Diploma/GED and completion or craft apprenticeship
• Quality minded, positive team player, safety conscious and production focused.
• Have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
• 4+ years of pipefitting experience.
• NCCER certification is a plus.
• Ability to work at heights greater than six feet off of the ground
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment (face-shield, gloves, safety harness, etc.)
