We are an outpatient Physical and Hand Therapy clinic in southern California with 2 locations in Oxnard and Thousand Oaks providing a variety of services.

Compensation:
Depends on years of experience, to be determined during interview.

Requirements of the OT/Hand Therapist

1 -2 years experience minimum in outpatient hand therapy work.
Master's degree as Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist.
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in California.

Job info and responsibilities of the OT/Hand Therapist:

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with some hand therapy experience, CHT would be ideal but not required.

With the CHT certification we can offer better compensation right off the bat, but if it is your goal to become a CHT we will help you.

You need to have experience in Hand Therapy and be able to provide most of these services:

Evaluation (pre- and post-op)
Splints (custom & prefabricated)
Patient/Family Education
Written Home Programs
Wound Care
Kinetic Taping
Thermal and Electrical Modalities
Strength & Endurance Training
Injury Prevention Programs
Scar and Pain Management
Edema Control
Manual Therapy Desensitization

We would like to see in you someone with good communication skills, friendly and cooperative, and if you can speak some Spanish that would be even better.

Our growing outpatient company provides physical therapy, work hardening, hand therapy, pediatrics, pilates, pelvic floor and more to a patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.

We have openings in Thousand Oaks and in Oxnard.
