Position Title: OB Scrub Tech - CWR 

Location: Neptune, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Shift: Night

Hourly Pay: $40–$42/hr

Weekly Pay: $1,440–$1,512/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking OB Scrub Tech - CWR  for an exciting Travel or Local job in  Neptune, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures, including C-sections, hysterectomies, D&Cs, and cervical repairs.

• Maintain strict sterile technique and prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.

• Accurately perform sponge, instrument, and needle counts with nursing staff.

• Order, stock, and organize supplies in the OR, PACU, and labor rooms, ensuring all equipment is clean and ready for use.

• Support nursing staff in providing direct and indirect patient care during antepartum and postpartum periods.

• Communicate effectively with RNs regarding patient status and procedural needs.

• Assist with patient and family requests, ensuring timely response and compassionate communication.

• Maintain equipment readiness, troubleshoot minor issues, and report equipment malfunctions.

• Demonstrate calm, effective teamwork during emergency or crisis situations.

• Adhere to NJ Department of Health, JCAHO, and hospital policies, ensuring compliance with ethical and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of OB Tech or Surgical Tech experience in an acute care setting (required); 3 years preferred.

• Licensure/Certification:

  • Certified OB Technician (required)

  • AHA BLS Certification (required)

• Skills: Strong knowledge of obstetric procedures, sterile field management, equipment handling, and teamwork in a high-acuity environment.
