Salem Media Group in Dallas, TX has an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Morning Show On-Air Host/Co-Host or Team 94.9 KLTY Dallas/Fort Worth

Dallas/Fort Worth's 94.9 KLTY-FM is looking for our next morning show host, co-host and/or team to join the KLTY family.

This position offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with a super high-performing team in the number 4 radio market and to impact lives through the power of Christian radio. Were looking for authentic, engaging and dynamic personalities who know and understand the Christian music format as well as our brand, audience and life group. They should be entertaining, good at communication and problem solving, know whats on our Dallas/Fort Worths listeners minds, be an excellent storyteller on-air, a team player and have a good track record at past jobs. The position reports to 94.9 KLTY Program Director.

We are looking for individuals or teams that have done team shows in the past in medium or larger markets and have proven successes.

Youll need knowledge of both digital and social spaces and be great at content creation. Understanding of Wide Orbit, Music Master, Adobe Audition & VoxPro a plus.

As the host(s) of the 94.9 KLTY Morning Show, you would be live in studio Monday Friday 5:30am 10:00am. You will also be expected to run your own board, produce your own endorsement spots and assist in production when needed. You will need to stay past 10:00am for staff or morning show meetings. Client interactions are also of importance. Lastly, you must be able to live and work in DFW.

Responsibilities:

• Must possess excellent show prep habits, writing skills and be fluent with common social media platforms.
• Candidate must be prepared to make personal appearances representing the station.

Qualifications:

• Talk Show Experience Required.
• Candidates must be flexible, organized, and a team-minded individual with good organizational skills.
• Must be responsible and able to work with little to no supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills are a must with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
