Remedy is excited to partner with a well-established manufacturer in Erie, PA as they seek to welcome a skilled Quality Technician to their 2nd and 3rd shift teams! Internally known as a Quality Auditor, this person will be responsible for performing floor audits and tests on products to ensure customer, quality, and food safety requirements are met. Below are additional key details for your review:

Job Title:  Quality Auditor

Job Type:  Full-time/Direct Hire

Shift:  Opportunities now available on 2nd and 3rd shift!

Pay: $17-25/hour, depending upon prior experience

Primary responsibilities for this Quality Auditor will include:

• Measure/inspect parts daily per part specific work instructions
• Conduct daily audits on each machine, record results
• Tag/record all non-conforming product on an NCP report and notify supervisor of all non-conformance issues
• Inspect incoming material as required and record results
• Ensure adherence to the current ISO 9001 and SQF standards
• Perform monthly food safety audits, record results
• Organize and maintain quality lab records
• Assist with root cause investigations and implementation of preventative and corrective action implementation to resolve customer complaints
• Perform operator duties as needed

We're looking for Quality professionals with the following background profile:

• At least 2-3 years of prior experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is required
• Basic blueprint reading skills
• Strong knowledge around FDA/GMP requirements
• Good understanding of plastic injection molding process and an ability to detect defects
