Manufacturing Engineer We are looking for an energetic and creative Manufacturing Engineer in Lake City, Minnesota. You will play a crucial role in the development and manufacturing of material handling and storage products. You will be responsible for executing engineering activities, including but not limited to process improvement and development, design verification and validation, process validation, equipment troubleshooting, line balancing, and layout design to ensure the successful development and launch of products for our clients.

A successful Manufacturing Engineer will impact the business by: - Managing small to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics.
- Project management skills, including planning, coordinating, and resourcing tasks amongst cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting to quickly propose and implement effective solutions to technical problems.
- Assess and eliminate safety risks in the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomics throughout the production process.
- Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finished product.
- Improve product quality by building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process.
- Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates
- Support new product launches.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferred.
- Strong understanding ISO manufacturing regulations.
- Experience with designing and developing manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and process validation requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and analytical skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook; & AutoCAD
- Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, quality, and reduce costs.
- Project management including establishing and maintaining project timelines with some direct supervision.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, procedures, and specifications.
- Conduct process validations and design transfer activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to maintain stable and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to medical device manufacturing.
- Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines and deliverables.
COMPENSATION : Salary ($55,000 - $60,000) + Benefits (inc. 401K match + corporate profit sharing)
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
