Loader - Off Loader

This positions main responsibilities will be taking care of incoming and outgoing containers. Ensuring that they are loaded and off loaded in a timely manner. Prepares palletized loads for shipment by counting, sorting, staging on pallets and shrink-wrapping product to ensure safe transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and proper balancing of product for shipment or store.
• Stage pallets, shrink wrap to prevent loss and load pallets onto truck manually or with pallet jack.
• Ensure correct parts are placed in correct truck.
• Packs correct items for delivery with accuracy and speed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable (must be able to work entire shift)
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively
• Ability to recognize and distinguish letter and numbers.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift/ 55lbs on a continuously thought entire shift.
• Able to bend, reach, stand items in container and shelfs (nine feet) with use of proper equipment or ladder when necessary.
• Able to stand and walk entire work shift.
• Ability to work 8 am to 5 pm or 9 to 6 pm based on shift given by upper management.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays when needed.
• 40 hours per week - little OT
