The Corporate Instructional Designer II (ID2) is accountable for continuous quality learning solutions and materials that support Aveannas learning and development strategy.

This is a hybrid position. Candidate must be within a reasonable driving distance of our Atlanta Corporate office.

Instructional Designer 2 (ID2) will collaborate with the Instructional Design Manager and Subject Matter Experts to design, enhance, and optimize training programs for Aveanna employees. By assessing, developing, and evaluating these programs, the ID2 will play a crucial role in improving employee performance. This role requires an inquisitive and intellectually curious individual who is eager for knowledge and receptive to direction from the Manager and teammates.

The ID2 will serve as a liaison between the Learning and Development (L&D) team and other Aveanna divisions, working closely with stakeholders, managers, department heads, subject matter experts, and others to identify training needs and performance gaps. They will support the L&D team by recommending cross-functional learning solutions to streamline projects across all business areas, ensuring that training initiatives align with the organization's objectives and foster employee growth.

This individual will be highly organized and accountable for meeting project deadlines. The ID2 will demonstrate a willingness to learn, embrace emerging technology, and contribute to enhancing the capabilities of Aveanna's talent organization-wide.

Essential Job Functions

+ Demonstrates high visibility and accountability with project deadlines and prioritizes tasks to meet immediate needs.

+ Aligns projects with Aveanna's goals, objectives, mission, vision, values, and 5Cs.

+ Manages multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Prioritizes testing courses and is fluent with mobile device testing.

+ Utilizes high-level design and programming abilities in Storyline including branching and scenarios, etc.

+ Employs various authoring tools and related software to produce multimedia training programs.

+ Builds and revises moderately complex projects independently and collaboratively.

+ Ensures accuracy of training materials in a rapidly changing environment.

+ Recommends and creates solutions to improve training effectiveness for clinical audiences.

+ Demonstrates flexibility and supports other department staff as needed.

+ Develops content using the ADDIE methodology.

+ Becomes highly competent in Workday Learning (LMS), preview tenants, and sandboxes.

+ Implements ADL SCORM and ADA Section 508 compliance into multimedia courseware.

+ Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements.

+ Writes concise, creative, and effective instruction materials.

+ Develops educational curriculum including instructor-led decks, job aids, interactive e-courses, audio/video, and other training solutions for various audiences.

+ Delivers classroom and virtual training as needed and supports teammates in preparation for classroom and virtual delivery.

+ Writes outlines, syllabi, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs, and trains the trainers on instructor-led training solutions.

+ Represents Learning and Development on various corporate project teams, ensuring key training deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

+ Makes informed decisions and judgments about the blended learning solutions to meet business needs and learning performance objectives.

+ Continuously increases knowledge and skills to provide increasing value to Aveanna.

Requirements

+ This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be within reasonable driving distance of our Atlanta Corporate office.

+ 2+ years of training and instructional design experience.

+ Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

+ Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools such as Rise, Storyline, and Captivate.

+ Adept in the ADDIE model.

+ Ability to design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences.

+ Proficiency in creating various instructional materials, such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.

+ Skilled in conducting needs assessments and learner analysis.

+ Course samples or a portfolio to show.

+ Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with subject matter experts, learners, and team members.

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills to address instructional challenges.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

+ Strong written and facilitation skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

+ Camtasia video editing experience is preferred.

+ Project management skills preferred.
