Job Description

Preferred Care at Home of San Antonio North is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in San Antonio. As a Caregiver, you will provide in-home, non-medical care to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive compensation ranging from $12 - $13 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

Varies from client to client

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Administer medication reminders
• Report any changes in client's condition to the supervising nurse or manager
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably with the elderly or individuals with disabilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
