Maryvale Preparatory School is seeking a part-time Upper and Middle School French Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is an exempt, part-time, 10-month position and will report directly to the Upper and Middle School Head. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and will have a strong academic record in French language and literature with an understanding of the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

• Teach various levels of French in our Upper School and Middle School
• Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience working in an independent school setting preferred.
• Recent experience in a Middle and/or Upper School classroom
• Willingness to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, and parents.

• Commitment to single gender education for young women

Additional Requirements:

• Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment
