Job Description
Ignite Industrial Professionals , is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts including stand up, walkie riders, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other equipment to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct equipment inspections and perform basic repairs as needed to ensure proper functioning.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, stacking goods, case picking in designated areas, and organizing the warehouse space.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Skills:
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, walkie rider, reach trucks, stand up, sit down, and other equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
