Food Services Director
The food service director contributes to patient welfare, the satisfaction of customers and employees, and the public image and profitability of Carle Foundation Hospital, its SBU's and its customers by providing nutritious, appetizing, timely and cost effective meals in a pleasant environment. This position maintains quality assurance and sanitation standards and provides opportunities for growth and development of the food service employees. A bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition or food service administration is required; a master's degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience directing or managing a health care food service of comparable size and complexity is required.
