Job description Affirmed Home Care is a leading concierge, private-pay home care company dedicated to providing exceptional care services to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and passionate Executive Director to join our Long Island branch in Garden City, New York. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing and participating in the management in all aspects of the agency's operations, including strategic planning, financial management, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement for the Long Island, Queens and Brooklyn territories. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the agency's mission and goals. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, including staffing, scheduling, recruiting and clinical client care. Work with the Director of Compliance to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including state and federal guidelines. Demonstrate thorough understanding of the agency's budget and financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and financial reporting. Lead and mentor a team of clinical and administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Attend and run interdepartmental team meetings for performance and provide feedback to Senior Vice President. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Represent the agency in the community and with regulatory agencies. Participate in and lead quarterly Quality Assurance meetings, obtaining feedback and working with the Director of Compliance and Senior Vice President to put appropriate plans of correction in place for areas needing improvement. Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families/points of contact. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Bachelor’s preferred) Or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Or Minimum of 5 years of experience in home health care management, with a proven track record of success Strong knowledge of home health care regulations, reimbursement, and quality measures Authorization to work in the US Why Join Affirmed Home Care?
