ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking an
Environmental Engineer/Hydrogeologist to join the Environment & Facility Services team in our
New Haven, CT office. This professional will support our team of engineers and scientists primarily in the areas of assessment and remediation which will include groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, construction oversight and report preparation (Phase I, II & III). There may be additional opportunity to work on environmental compliance projects such as SWPPP's, air/waste/wastewater permitting and Tier II reports. The Environmental Engineer/Hydrogeologist will provide analysis, documentation, and field work for a range of environmental projects throughout Connecticut.
Position Requirements - Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering or geology required, Master's degree a plus
- Typically requires at least 2 years of relevant working experience
- HAZWOPER 40 training preferred
- Knowledge of Connecticut and Federal environmental regulations required
- Excellent writing and communication skills required
- Familiarity using AutoCAD preferred, GIS and/or ESdat skills a plus
- Ability to life and carry at least 30 pounds
