Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Pallet Jack Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving products and materials throughout the warehouse using a pallet jack. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate pallet jacks to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
• Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling of products.
• Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, including cherry pickers and forklifts, to ensure safe operation.
• Participate in training sessions for new equipment, including cranes and other machinery as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating pallet jacks or similar equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
• Experience with order picking and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in related roles is beneficial but not required.
