Job Title: Economic Analyst Job Summary:

The Economic Analyst will analyze economic data, trends, and policies to provide insights that inform the company's strategic decisions. The Economic Analyst will collaborate with various departments to support business planning, investment decisions, and policy analysis.

• Analyze economic data, trends, and indicators to assess current economic conditions and forecast future economic scenarios.
• Conduct research on macroeconomic and microeconomic factors, including GDP, inflation, employment, interest rates, and industry-specific trends.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and economic forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate the potential impact of economic policies, regulations, and global economic events on the company's operations and markets.
• Collaborate with finance, strategy, and product teams to provide economic insights that inform business planning and investment decisions.
• Monitor and report on global economic developments, including changes in fiscal and monetary policies, trade agreements, and geopolitical events.
• Develop economic models and simulations to analyze the potential outcomes of various economic scenarios.
• Provide insights on market conditions, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics to support marketing and sales strategies.
• Stay informed about academic research, economic theories, and emerging trends in economics to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Assist in the preparation of economic impact assessments for new projects, investments, and product launches.
• Present economic analysis and recommendations to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Economics or a related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in economic analysis, research, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of economic principles, theories, and quantitative analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., STATA, R, EViews) and economic modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex economic data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey economic concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in preparing economic reports, forecasts, and policy analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Knowledge of global economic trends, policies, and their potential impact on business and markets.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Professional certifications or training in economics, data analysis, or related areas are desirable.
