Job Description – Driver Manager Wednesday - Friday - 5p.m. - 7a.m.

Driver Manager performs in a customer service and sales support capacity responsible for identifying the most efficient means of moving our customer's freight, resolving client conflict and building valuable relationships with drivers and customers.

Driver Managers function is to schedule drivers to pick up or deliver loads to customers or vendors. Driver Managers are also responsible for keeping records, monitoring driver daily logs for errors or violations, and the monitoring of both drivers in relation to their remaining hours of service and equipment as to its availability.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Build and nurture partner relationships with customers and drivers
• Ability to communicate frequently and professionally by phone
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System
• Able to work both independently and within a team
• Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions
• Achieve individual, team, and company goals and objectives

Skills/Requirements

• ·Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team-based environment
• ·Extremely organized and detail oriented
• ·Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build professional relationships via telephone
• ·Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, & decision-making skills
• ·Must have strong computer skills. Outlook, word, excel etc....
• ·Strong work ethic with exceptional attendance a must
