Click here ( before applying. Performs statistical, analytical, and tactical intelligence research work specific to the Police Services Bureau within the Ada County Sheriff's Office. This position identifies trends and patterns in crime and law enforcement activity within Ada County, prepares a variety of analytical reports on crime statistics and criminal intelligence, and provides advice to management. Additionally, this position is expected to expound upon intelligence received and/or proactively uncover and investigate potential intelligence worthy information and to use the position's expertise to assist in case work with detectives. The incumbent must use independent judgment during project completion and must take the initiative to complete assigned tasks. This position is located in the Central Investigations Division. SHIFT INFORMATION Generally dayshift Monday - Friday; flexibility is needed for an occasional callout/weekend.
