About the Role
As the Corporate Records Manager, you will oversee and maintain the firm's corporate records department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. You will be responsible for managing corporate records processes, maintaining accurate minute books, and working closely with lawyers and paralegals to support the firm's corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and oversee the firm's corporate records database and minute book collection
  • Ensure compliance with corporate regulations, including the BC Business Corporations Act and other relevant legislation
  • Support lawyers and corporate paralegals with incorporations, amendments, dissolutions, and other corporate transactions
  • Assist with due diligence processes and respond to corporate records requests
  • Implement and improve records management processes to enhance efficiency
  • Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in corporate records management

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate records management, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Strong knowledge of BC corporate law and records management best practices
  • Experience with corporate records software (e.g., ALF)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
