Job Position:

Retail Barista

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Coaster Coffee barista, you will be responsible for a wide range of different tasks in your day-to-day interactions with our guests. As barista you are expected to adapt to the changing needs throughout the store rapidly. You can easily start off making beverages at the Frappuccino station before swapping spots with a fellow associate at the espresso bar.

As a Coaster Coffee barista, your primary responsibilities will include:

· Prepare coffee and tea beverages for guests

· Operating the register and processing transactions – must possess knowledge of the menu and substitutions to properly mark the cup to pass along to whomever is making drinks

· Must be willing to learn how to operate, but not limited to, espresso machines, blenders, coffee machines, etc.

· Be able to keep up with a clean workspace and maintain the store during downtime as needed – since it does get busy at times and you need as much space as possible to work efficiently

· Ensure that you are adhering to food safety procedures at all times

· Must possess good customer service and communication skills, must be a quick learner since the menu is pretty extensive

Job requirements:

· Working well under pressure

· Strong communication skills

· Being punctual

· Having strong planning skills

· Being detail-oriented

· Multi-tasking ability

· Customer service experience

· Food service experience

· Must be able to lift 15 – 20 lbs.
