Job Details Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CNC Lathe/Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art CNC equipment, contribute to the production of high-quality products, and be part of a passionate and hardworking team. The successful candidate will be part of our manufacturing team, working on CNC Mills and Lathes, primarily Haas. You will be responsible for setting up and operating the machines, interpreting GD&T symbols, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the finished parts.
Responsibilities:
1. Setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills, primarily Haas, in accordance with the production schedule.
2. Interpreting and implementing GD&T symbols to ensure the accurate production of parts.
3. Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
4. Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
5. Translating instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
6. Ensuring the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
7. Overseeing the machines while they execute the tasks and make necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
8. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
9. Testing operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
10. Adhering to all safety and health regulations.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator.
3. Solid knowledge and understanding of CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Haas, and GD&T symbols.
4. Strong ability to interpret and understand complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
7. Strong understanding of the machining process and materials.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. High level of mechanical aptitude and maintenance capability.
10. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
11. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
