**Catering Assistant**

Great Southern Grammar is an independent, Christian, coeducational residential and day school for students pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. We like to say, wide-open spaces equal wide-open futures.The RoleThis position works within the School's Catering team and performs an integral role in the daily operation of the boarding dining room. This position is responsible for cleaning duties associated with the boarding students breakfast and also assists the Catering team. The role also involves some food handling and preparation.Overall, all Catering team members contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the kitchen and dining room, ensuring welfare, safety, privacy and the general wellbeing of all students is maintained. Also, ensuring that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained, to the required standards.This position is part-time, a minimum of 12 hours per week, during school term time. **The Role**
