• Title: Cancer Clinical Research Nurse
• Location: Boston, Massachusetts, 02118
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Days 5X8 hours
• Shift: Days
• Weekly Gross: $3,000 - $3,180
• Hourly Blended Pay Rate: $77.00 - $79.56

Required Qualifications

• RN License in Massachusetts
• BSN required
• 3–5 years of clinical or research nursing experience (ideally in oncology trials )
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of REDCap , Microsoft Office Suite, and research regulations
• BCLS certification required

Daily Roles & Responsibilities

Clinical Research Responsibilities

• Conducts in-clinic visits for patients enrolled in cancer clinical trials
• Reviews clinical trial protocols and contributes to protocol development
• Collaborates with research coordinators and regulatory staff to ensure trial compliance
• Supports trial recruitment and patient screening for eligibility
• Discusses trial requirements and informed consent with patients
• Schedules and monitors patient assessments (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Documents findings and communicates them to physicians and PIs

2. Clinical Duties (Trial-Specific)

• Coordinates patient care based on study protocols
• Orders and follows up on required specimens and lab tests
• Administers trial medications as needed
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Educates patients and families about study participation

3. Administrative & Regulatory

• Assists with IRB submissions , regulatory documentation , and study activation
• Provides protocol training and education to clinical staff
• Collaborates with clinical staff across departments to facilitate trial execution

4. Professional Development

• Actively seeks training and development opportunities
• Participates in professional organizations , internal committees, and knowledge sharing.
