We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Telecom Installer / Cable Puller to join our team. This is a hands-on field position supporting low-voltage installation projects, including structured cabling, data networks, and communication systems. Position Summary: The Telecom Installer / Cable Puller is responsible for assisting with the installation of structured cabling systems, including pulling, routing, terminating, labeling, and testing copper and fiber optic cables in commercial and federal facilities. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Install, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling. Perform cable pulling through conduit, ceilings, walls, and cable trays. Terminate copper (RJ45) and fiber connections. Label, test, and document installed cabling per project requirements. Install support structures including ladder racks, J-hooks, and cable trays. Assist in the installation of telecom devices, racks, cabinets, and patch panels. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow company and site-specific safety protocols at all times. Assist supervisors with assigned tasks. Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in low-voltage cabling or telecom installation preferred. Ability to read and follow basic construction drawings and cabling layouts. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment. Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks. Reliable transportation to various job sites throughout Northern California. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening for facility access. OSHA 10 certification (preferred) or ability to obtain upon hire. Benefits: Pay is similar to prevailing wage rates.
