Our client is seeking a dedicated Business Continuity Management (BCM) Coordinator to join their team for a 12+ months contract position. This role will focus on the governance of technology recovery, business continuity, and vendor continuity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in BCM and a passion for enhancing recovery planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the BCM program, ensuring effective management of business continuity, technical recovery, and vendor continuity.
- Provide constructive oversight and challenge to BCM plans, ensuring they meet organizational standards.
- Develop, review, and improve BCM policies, programs, and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to foster strong relationships and promote a culture of continuity planning.
- Collect and analyze disaster recovery planning data to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in Business Continuity Management.
- Proven ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma is required.
Preferred Qualifications: - 2-5 years of experience in financial services, particularly in auto finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Risk Management, Business Studies, or related field.
- Certification such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Certified Business Continuity Manager (CBCM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Lucidchart and eGRC Archer BCM module would be beneficial.
Additional Information: - This position requires onsite attendance 1-2 times per month.
- Compensation is in the range of $28-30 per hour (W2).
